This includes managing the organization’s newsletter, supporting social media presence, and ensuring that the work of the Board of Directors and all committees is communicated clearly, consistently, and accurately. The Communications Committee plays a key role in gathering content from committees, board leadership, and members, helping translate programs, initiatives, advocacy efforts, and local successes into accessible and engaging communications. By monitoring member activity and sharing stories from downtowns and Main Street member communities, the committee helps amplify impact and strengthen statewide connection. All external communications flow through the Communications Committee to maintain a unified organizational voice and ensure alignment with FLDA’s mission, priorities, and approved positions. The committee meets monthly and works collaboratively throughout the year, with active participation expected between meetings to support timely communications and organizational initiatives.
